Red Kidney Beans, Dried



Red kidney beans are used in a variety of recipes, all over the world. From bean casseroles, vegetarian diets and thousands upon thousands of different chili recipes; beans are considered to be a staple food for many cultures. Kidney beans are a very good source of cholesterol-lowering fiber, as are most other beans.

To prepare red kidney beans, it is important to soak the beans for a minimum of eight hours up to a maximum of twelve hours.
