Wakame is the highest quality wakame seaweed, a sea vegetable highly valued for its nutritional qualities and delicious flavour which has been eaten in Japan and other Asian countries for many centuries. Wakame is high in dietary fibre, Omega 3 fatty acids, iron, iodine and many other minerals and trace elements. Kiwi Wakame is harvested pristine waters of Stewart Island and Foveaux Strait in the far south of New Zealand.
KiwiWakame is easily reconstituted. Simply place in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes. Drain off excess water and it is ready to eat. If adding to soups or stir-frys, add 'as is' straight from the packet.
